Frailea
Frailea, a genus of globular to short cylindrical cacti, native to South America. These species are cleistogamous, meaning, (characterized by the small size and closed self-pollinating flowers additional to and often more fruitful than showier ones on the same plant). It is a type of automatic self-pollination of certain plants that can propagate by using non-opening, self-pollinating flowers. Predominately Brazilian genus.
