  • This is a xerophytic plant, meaning: adapted to live in a dry or xeric environment, also to survive in water-scarce habitats
  • Habitat is Coastal Chile, Antofagasta
  • Dry coastal deserts, particularly the Atacama Desert of Northern Chile
