Grower: spring to summer growers, during colder seasons, keep indoors
Light: medium sun to light shade, in the hottest time of summer this plant seeks more shade than blazing sun
Water: during winter rather keep to the dry side due to the dormancy period. In hotter months water well once per week, but when cloudy or a moist atmosphere due to rain, refrain from watering. Fertilise every 4 weeks in the growing season
Soil type: 50% potting substrate and 50% gritty mix to ensure friability, good drainage and to be able to retain some moisture necessary for take-up of xylem (water) and phloem (food). Phloem transports sucrose and amino acids from the leaves and other parts (organs) of the plant
