Euphorbia obesa subs. simmetrica ‘sea urchin’ (seedraised)

Euphorbia obesa subs. simmetrica ‘sea urchin’ is s beautifull flattened sphere with horizontal purplish banding and similar to Euphorbia obesa. Unusual in cultivation it is still rare to find.

• South Africa (Willomore, Beaufort West).
• sunny position, frost tender.
• water sparing, ample aeration to reduce fungi and lice.
• flowering mostly after 5-8 years.
• E. obesa subs. simmetrica differs from E. obesa is the more rounder, flatter and not growing tall.
