Grower: summer grower, winter frost tender

Light: no direct sun exposure in summer, not too much low light either, to prevent the plant from becoming etiolated and out of shape

Water: moderate watering throughout the year, not too wet, nor too dry, autumn to winter. Quite drought tolerant in damp climate areas

Soil type: well-draining friable, substrate/growing medium, which will retain some moisture, but be non-soggy
