ORIGIN / HISTORY

  • Native to South Africa, Bushmanland as far as Kakamas, south-wards through Namaqualand to Vanrhynsdorp, as well as south-western Namibia
  • It grows on quartz gravely flats and gravelly or rocky slopes
  • Crassula cornuta absorbs moisture through the epidermis
  • It is confused with Crassula deceptor which has rounder greyer leaves
