is native to South Africa, it occurs in rocky woodland areas in Limpopo province.
This species is a succulent sub shrub with branching, copper-green stems armed with pairs of reddish , spines.
The specific epithet “aeruginosa“, means “rusty” covered with copper rust”, and refers to the color of the stems of this species.
Well-draining succulent substrate/growing-medium.
Medium sun to bright light, no direct sun.
Water well summertime once per week. Frost tender.
