ORIGIN / HISTORY

Native to the rocky, arid, and semi-desert woodlands of the Iringa Escarpment in Tanzania.
Rocky outcrops in Miombo woodland. This species is identified by its blue-green, thorn-lined, and often variegated stems.
Critically endangered due to habitat loss.
