  • Carolus Linnaeus named this genus after the Greek physician Euphorbus, who was credited with discovering a medicinal use for Euphorbia (most likely Resin Spurge)
  • Euphorbia ‘Sunrise’ is thought to be a hybrid of Euphorbia pseudocactus and Euphorbia bougheyii
